NVQs are nationally recognised qualifications assessed against National Occupational Standards.

NVQs are a development process, not a course. Candidates are assessed on their wokplace skills and knowledge.

National Occupational Standards describe best practice bringing together skills, knowledge and values. The existing NVQ qualifications framework at levels 2, 3, 4 & 5 can provide you with a qualification that recognises your skills and knowledge used / acquired in the workplace. Training organisations/providers will be able to assist you in choosing an appropriate route through the NVQ framework.
